Travelling Housekeeper – Torino, Italy

Overview

Exciting opportunity for a well-rounded, experienced housekeeper to join a fully staffed household in Torino. The lovely UHNW family looks after their staff and has excellent staff retention rates. The new opening is a result of a housekeeper retiring.

You will be working for a respectful family who travel extensively across other properties worldwide, including NYC and other locations in Europe. In the Torino home, you will have your own bedroom and bathroom within the separate staff quarters. Elsewhere, you will also have your own bedroom and bathroom.

The chef prepares delicious lunch and dinner for all the staff, creating a lovely working environment. The ideal candidate will be looking for a long-standing role and will have a wide remit of experience across different areas from housekeeping to laundry to a bit of cooking.

The cooking is in rare instances when the chef is not working, and you will only be expected to prepare simple meals. This is a real right-hand position for the principals as you will be one of the few members of staff that travel with them. They will rely on you for packing/unpacking and knowing all their needs and preferences.

Italian speaker is preferred, as the rest of the staff in Torino speak Italian. Highly recommended role!

• Days of work: 5.5 days a week
• Hours: 08:00-12:00 then 15:30/16:00-20:30
• 26 days of holiday a year plus bank holidays
• 13 months contract (double pay in December)
