Team Members under 21 will be paid at £1.00 per hour less, which is significantly above National Minimum Wage guidelines.

Day to Day Responsibilities for Team Leader:

  • Promoting residents’ independence with a focus on choice, dignity, and respect
  • Leading the team to support the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of residents
  • Supporting carers in providing personal care and daily activities
  • Administering medication
  • Writing and updating care plans and keeping accurate daily records
  • Promoting residents’ choice, dignity, and independence at all times

Essential Requirements for Team Leader:

  • Relevant Professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3)
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in a residential/nursing home setting
  • Awareness of Person-Centred Care Planning principles
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Understanding of the prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults
  • Satisfactory Care Character Assessment
  • Live within 20 minutes of the home

Preferred Requirements for Team Leader:

  • Two years’ experience in a similar role in a nursing home
  • One year’s experience working in a similar role in a residential or nursing home
  • NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or above
  • Experience of managing a team
