Tenancy Management & Resettlement Officer needed in South East London Paying £21.92 per hr ref 1390736

Role Purpose:

Ensure tenancies in the private rented sector are sustained, providing safe and secure housing, and meeting local and corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality advice, lettings, and tenancy sustainment services.
• Promote private rented sector as an alternative to social housing, preventing homelessness and reducing temporary accommodation use.
• Report on performance against targets.

Summary of Duties:

1. Increase supply of quality accommodation for housing needs.
2. Inspect properties for suitability.
3. Assess prospective customers’ suitability for private rented accommodation.
4. Conduct accompanied viewings and provide expert advice.
5. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and planning regulations.
6. Act as a mediator for landlords and tenants facing tenancy issues.
7. Provide comprehensive tenancy sign-up and sustainment services.
