Salary: £25,119 - £27,334 a year pro rata

Hours per week: 22.5

Luton Borough Council is looking for a person to provide technical and maintenance support, including planned and reactive maintenance of facilities and displays at all Culture Trust sites. Experience in general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, basic electrics, plumbing, and wood machining, is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct planned maintenance tasks.
• Address reactive maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain health and safety standards.

About you

You will need to be able to plan and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines, use your own initiative, and deal politely and tactfully with a range of people. A clean driving licence and the ability to drive the Trust’s van are required.

You should also possess a good knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations relevant to the post.
