Overview

Job Purpose:

To deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute to the professional and corporate life of the school, working collaboratively with pupils, staff, and external bodies in line with SNCT agreements.

Roles that require PVG Membership

From 1 April 2023, candidates for roles requiring PVG membership will be responsible for the cost, which is either £18 for existing members or £59 for non-members. This cost will be deducted from the first full month’s salary payment.

Minimum Requirements for the Post Holder:

  • Appropriate teaching qualification
  • Full GTC (Scotland) registration in the relevant subject/sector, or eligibility for such registration
  • PVG scheme membership – Working with Children

Demonstrable Skills and Experience:

The post holder must demonstrate the Standard for Full Registration.
