Job Overview

Gateway College is seeking to appoint a dynamic and creative Teacher of Biology for teaching A Level Biology, Level 3 BTEC Applied Science, and Level 2 CTEC. This position is perfect for Gateway College's budding scientists who aspire to progress into the worlds of Ecology, Biomedical science, Forensics, Marine Biology, and Medicine.

Salary and Benefits

Employment is under the Sixth Form Colleges contract, 195 days (1265 hours) with the SFCA pay spine ranging from £30,500 - £47,133 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time role, requiring 16 hours per week, specifically on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Education and Experience Requirements

• A Level Biology specialist preferred.
• Experience of teaching post-16 students.
• Passionate about science and education.
