Technology Resource Technician

Overview

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is looking to appoint an experienced and well-qualified candidate to join an enthusiastic, supportive and successful school as a Technology Resource Technician.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for the Technology department as part of the school Technician team.
• Work collaboratively as a supportive team member.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm to develop support for Technology and maintain safe working practices.
• Support pupils in achieving high aspirations and contribute to ongoing planning with innovative ideas.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCSE A* - C or 9 - 4 in English, Maths, and Science.
• Science qualification at an appropriate level.
• Commitment to supporting pupils' success.

Working Conditions:

Working hours are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time, including 192 days plus 10 directed days.
