The Role

Primarily supporting the Space team within the Safety and Airspace Regulation Group (SARG), you will manage their training needs, delivery, and assist with the management process to develop bespoke training. This will involve collaboration with subject matter experts and the SARG learning and development team.

Core Accountabilities

  • Act as a training focal point for Space, SARG teams, and individuals on all aspects of learning and development and assist with the management of training costs.
  • Support the development of Wellbeing and Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.
  • Advise on and facilitate training needs, including management of bookings and feedback on quality.
  • Support and advise with the training budget and plan for future funding.
  • Collaborate and demonstrate good practice in managing training for individuals & teams across SARG.
  • Accurately record and report on mandatory training in existing CAA systems.
  • Build collaborative relationships with other CAA teams and external training providers.
  • Assist in the development of internal systems to manage training records for the Space department as well as across SARG.

About You

Essential Minimum Criteria

  • Experience in training and mentoring across various levels.
  • Creative, practical, and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to compile high specification written documentation.
  • Proactive communication skills.
  • Capability to develop collaborative relationships.
  • Good knowledge of IT applications, especially Microsoft Office and related software.

Desirable Criteria

  • Awareness of the obligations of the Safety and Airspace Regulation Group.
  • Experience in a Matrix Management environment.
