Tech Swing (Sound Bias) - MEAN GIRLS

Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for the position of Tech Swing (Sound Bias) on the West End production of Mean Girls. Ambassador Theatre Group is committed to a workplace that embraces diversity and inclusion.

Role Responsibilities:

• Working in collaboration with other departments.
• Keeping all Sound equipment clean and in good show quality condition.
• Assisting with daily Sound checks, Stage Reset and regular maintenance calls.
• Maintaining the working order of radio mics and assist with fittings and changes as required.
• Learning 7x backstage plots and system switch-on.
• Attending rehearsal calls and covering runs where required.
• Ability to handle emergency repairs.

Candidate Experience Requirements:

• Experience in large-scale theatre environment.
• Knowledge of current Health & Safety guidelines and working practices.
• Relevant hands-on professional experience in theatre sound and carpentry (follow spot experience a plus).
• The ability to adapt, work under pressure and within a team.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
