Job Summary
You will be working alongside another Administrator and the Business Manager to assist with the administration of this busy community Tissue Viability Specialist Team.
Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a self-motivated professional with excellent organisation and communication skills, who will provide secretarial and business support to the Tissue Viability Team. Your duties will include:
- Formatting documents using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Updating databases and minute taking for team meetings.
- Performing a range of general administration duties.
- Assisting clinician's workload and being a first point of contact for enquiries from patients, carers, and other professionals.
- Liaising with GPs, Integrated Care Teams, Link Nurses, and external organisations.
- Supporting clinicians with RIO and any required correspondence.
- Assisting with events, including venue, catering, and delegate bookings.
- Supporting income generation by promoting training sessions and booking staff onto training courses.
- Promoting the use of Formulary products across Hampshire & IOW area.
- Handling procurement ordering.
- Working flexibly and supporting the team in various locations as needed.
- Adapting to a changing environment and altering working practices if required.
- Driving Licence essential.
Main Duties, Tasks & Skills Required
- Receiving referrals and booking appointments for patients attending clinics.
- Administrating staff education sessions using electronic & manual systems.
- Answering enquiries from patients and stakeholders regarding the Tissue Viability Specialist Team.
- Updating records with accurate data for effective management information.
- Ensuring all diagnostic information is available for clinicians.
- Managing administrative duties linked to the education schedule.
- Providing administration and general typing support to the team.
- Dealing with external companies and product providers.
- Updating literature and document creation based on clinician needs.
- Providing a good customer service experience for all patients.
Qualifications
Essential
Evidence of literacy and numeracy, e.g., GCSE pass in English/Maths.
Desirable
ECDL/CLAIT computer skills qualification or equivalent.
