Overview

Menzies Distribution is currently recruiting for experienced Van Drivers based at Menzies Distribution's Wakefield (J41) depot. The primary responsibility will be to ensure timely deliveries to customers across the northern region.

Shift Pattern: 5 days over 7, including some weekend work, with hours from 2 AM until 9:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load your vehicle safely and within legislation.
• Deliver parcels safely, efficiently, and on time (25-40 drops per shift).
• Handle parcel returns and ensure vehicle security during transit.
• Complete all necessary documentation as per company procedure.
• Support picking orders in the warehouse as needed.

Menzies Distribution's Ideal Candidate:

• Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points).
• No previous disqualifications (NI, DD, or DR).
• Solid local geographical knowledge of commercial addresses.
• Physically fit for a multi-drop driving and warehouse role.
• Willingness to undergo a background check/drug & alcohol test.
