Overview

Job Summary

Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust's busy Administration Team, providing clerical duties and dealing with telephone enquiries, data inputting, and liaising with a variety of stakeholders and visitors. The ideal candidates must be conscientious, flexible, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Main Duties, Tasks & Skills Required

  • Answer the telephone professionally, filtering and directing calls appropriately.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Respond to e-mails quickly and effectively.
  • Send faxes as required and ensure received faxes are promptly delivered.
  • Assist in maintaining stationery stock and supplies.
  • Manage electronic and hardcopy filing systems.
  • Attend team meetings and training days.
  • Take meeting minutes and provide timely reports as requested.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of ward-related documentation.
  • Prepare admission documentation for new patients.
  • Help plan and arrange patient admissions and transfers.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks as directed.
