Job Overview: Americold is recruiting for multiple Warehouse Operatives Days at Americold Spalding. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, as well as transferring pallets to designated locations within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks as required.
• Transfer pallets from Loading Bays to relevant rooms and locations.
• Receive and dispatch pallets using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• Adhere to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Familiarize yourself with the company's HACCP plan regarding food safety.
• Follow company Health and Safety (H&S) policies and best practices.

Working Hours

Available shifts are from Monday to Friday, with start times ranging from 6am to 8am and finish times from 5pm to 7pm.

Rates of Pay

The pay rate is £12.25 for the first 45 hours, plus a 5% shift allowance. Overtime is paid at £18.37 for hours worked beyond 45 hours in a week.

Requirements

• MHE/FLT certificate is essential.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
• Flexible and open to change.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
