Warehouse Operative - Envoy/Picker

Overview

Salary: Very competitive

Shift Allowance: 10% (as mentioned above)

Bonus: Split bi-annual a year

Mandatory Extension Hours: Can be a maximum of 2 extra hours whilst working the late shift, paid at 1.5 overtime rate. An added £15 travel supplement is also given per day whilst on lates.

Hours will be the following (rotating shifts weekly):

• Earlies: Monday to Thursday - 6:00am to 2:30pm & Friday 6:00am to 1:30pm
• Lates: Monday to Thursday – 2:00pm-12:00am (ext 1: 12:45am, ext 2: 01:45am)

Key Tasks and Responsibilities – ENVOY DUTIES:

• Deliver parts from the warehouse and replenish bins to rack locations, ensuring correct placement.
• Identify replenishment requirements and scan empty locations, maintaining tidiness.
• Ensure sufficient stock is available on customer site at all times.
• Liaise with customers on-site to ensure satisfaction.
• Check for damaged labels and request replacements as necessary.
• Maintain batch traceability and ensure correct procedures are followed.
• Return empty KLTs to the warehouse.
• Observe first in/first out (FIFO) stock rotation.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities – PICKING DUTIES:

• Pick and decant items into correct size/type KLT.
• Label all KLTs correctly to preserve traceability.
• Confirm items picked correspond to the Pick slip, producing Production orders when required.
• Ensure similar size parts are segregated during the decant process.
• Advise admin and team leader of potential missing stock.
• Assist in part inspections and repackage bulk items as required.
• Fill compactors as necessary (waste management).
• Maintain and use equipment correctly, reporting faults/issues.
• Assist with quarterly stock taking and daily quality objectives.
• Operate various pieces of equipment.

This is not a definitive list; extra duties may be required at management discretion.

Must have a valid driver’s licence.
