At Babcock, Babcock International’re working to create a safe and secure world. As a Warehouse Operative at Babcock International's Donnington site, you'll contribute significantly to the smooth operation of Babcock International's logistics and supply chain.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Handling incoming deliveries, verifying goods against paperwork, and completing the inbound receiving process.
• Utilising Material Handling Equipment (MHE) for various warehouse tasks, ensuring proper storage and movement of goods.
• Maintaining stock integrity by checking Certificates of Conformity (CofC) and product shelf life to ensure compliance.
• Accurately picking and packing orders for customers, ensuring correctness and proper packaging for onward distribution.
• Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment.

This position involves manual work, which may include lifting, bending, using tools, or standing for extended periods.

Shift and Schedule

The role involves working in both Donnington and Europe. After training, the work pattern will be a rotational shift of 2 weeks in the UK followed by 2 weeks in Europe, with generous allowances for days worked in Europe.

Essential Experience Required

• Valid MHE license.
• Knowledge of warehousing and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
• Familiarity with warehouse systems (SAP is desirable).
