About Qvis Lighting & Security Ltd:

QVIS Lighting and Security is a family-owned business based in Havant and is a leading provider of CCTV, LED Lighting, and Smart Home products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading and unloading of goods and supplies for all products.
• Check accuracy and condition of all deliveries.
• Enter all information into the Warehouse management system for deliveries and shipments.
• Distribute products to the correct locations in the warehouse.
• Ensure customers orders are picked and packed accurately and efficiently for dispatch.
• Undertake and support stock checks as required.
• Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of products is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.
• Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others.
• Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner.
• General warehouse tidying and sorting to ensure operational efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned by Team Leader in line with company needs.
• Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial.
• A good level of fitness is needed as manual handling is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work within a team environment.
• Able to adapt to changing workloads and priorities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft packages.
• Counterbalance forklift licence would be beneficial but not essential.
• An understanding of health and safety requirements.
