Position Overview

As a Warehouse Operative, you’re a key member of the Kettering Team, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor. You will contribute to the success of Ball by carrying out all essential warehouse duties to ensure a safe and efficient environment.

Shift Pattern

The shift pattern is: Permanent Day or Night shift 12-hour, 4 on/4 off.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
• Assisting with direct support to all departments in the plant via material handling.
• Facilitating the transportation of inbound and outbound shipments of products and materials.
• Reviewing completed drayage tickets and bills of lading for completeness and accuracy prior to distribution.
• Facilitating shipments of finished products and scrap.
• Following all standard operating procedures for area of responsibility.
• Assisting with reporting the inventory status of finished goods and packaging materials.
• Maintaining good housekeeping in the warehouses and related areas.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Relevant MHE license with at least 2 years of experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and attention to detail.
• Sound communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain processes.
• Ability to operate and functionally use a computer.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
