As part of Marston Foods's ongoing restructure and growth, Marston Foods is looking for section leaders to work on the 4 on / 4 off shift pattern from 7am to 7pm. They will support the shift leaders and production manager to develop the teams in production and the warehouse. This is a new role, and all training will be provided as part of your development.

The role will include:

• The warehouse section leaders will need to have a forklift licence.
• Supporting your section’s team members to complete their tasks while following standard processes.
• Providing training and coaching to team members to perform tasks consistently with due regard for safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Providing feedback and encouragement to team members and raising issues of concern with shift leaders to bring about positive change.
• Taking responsibility for the accuracy of daily plans in your section.
• Working with the team to ensure daily plans are completed with equal regard to quality and quantity.
• Ensuring cleaning schedules and standard cleaning instructions are followed to maintain and raise hygiene standards.
• Taking a lead role in daily section huddles to review performance and action boards.
• Getting involved in writing SOPs by recommending edits and updates to the process team.
• Supporting your section by being hands-on on the production lines whenever needed.

Skills

• An enthusiasm to learn and work as part of a team is essential.
• Support the team to complete daily plans.
• Comply with health and safety and food safety guidelines.
• Take responsibility for your own actions and those of others around you.
• Follow the Marston Foods Values and Behaviours at all times.
• Experience in food production is preferred.
