Overview

Wincanton is looking for a Warehouse Team Manager to work across Wincanton's existing Warton 8 Hangar Facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the individual will support in establishing and maintaining effective warehouse operations to meet key performance indicators and exceed customer expectations.

Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Security Clearance.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a proactive approach to Health and Safety
  • Motivate the team to achieve daily and weekly KPIs and ensure deadlines are met
  • Provide a professional service to customers and staff, managing escalations effectively
  • Maintain accurate process flows, work instructions, and quality documents
  • Ensure staff are trained and inducted, with refresher training as needed
  • Manage performance, attendance, and timekeeping of colleagues
  • Communicate planned requirements and provide updates on performance
  • Act as key holder for designated site(s)
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders
