Yard Assistant

Overview

Travis Perkins's Walsall branch is a BUSY one! A team of 30 colleagues operates a busy counter service, sales desk, tool hire, and managed service operation. As a Yard Assistant, you'll be on the front line dealing with Travis Perkins's customers.

What will I be doing?

• Deliver the highest standards of service, building relationships with customers.
• Process customer orders and load/unload vehicles.
• Unload building products from deliveries and book them into the warehouse.
• Experience with forklifts is ideal, but training is provided.
• Maintain a safe working environment.

What skills do you need?

This is a key customer-facing role, requiring great customer service abilities. The role is physically demanding.
