Overview

Travis Perkins's Walsall branch is a BUSY one! A team of 30 colleagues operating a busy counter service, sales desk, tool hire, Benchmarx kitchens, and a managed service operation. Joining Travis Perkins's friendly and hard-working family as a Yard Assistant, you'll be on the front line dealing with Travis Perkins's customers that come into Travis Perkins's yard. As part of the branch team, you will play a vital role in Travis Perkins's continued success, providing a first-class service.

What will I be doing?

• Delivering the highest standards of service, building strong relationships with customers.
• Processing customer orders and loading/unloading customer and company vehicles.
• Unloading building products from supplier deliveries and accurately booking them in.
• Using a forklift (full training provided).
• Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.

What skills do you need?

This is a key customer-facing role where the ability to provide great customer service is essential. The role can be physically demanding.
