Job Overview
Youth Justice Support Officers manage cases for young people, undertaking assessments, planning, intervention, and supervision to prevent reoffending. You will work closely with the YJS Team Manager to provide direct services and restorative justice interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans.
- Provide support to young people under ISS provisions.
- Engage in direct service delivery to youth offenders.
- Collaborate with multi-agency partners for integrated support.
About You
You are a dedicated advocate for youth, experienced in managing cases and engaging with families. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work sensitively with confidential information are essential.
